New things

So I’m no longer an expat or a teacher, but oh my word that comfort zone darem maar!

Something needs to change and there’s no more sure way to get things moving than accountability. I hope that by sharing my process here for the interwebz to see will keep me at least somewhat motivated. We’ll see. My projects thus far have maar always been very stop-start. Or rather start-stop. I can’t even manage a month-long photo challenge on Instagram. (Note to self: Continue – and finish – the daily blog post thingy.)

The last 516 days have been very uncertain and I don’t really know where they went exactly. 2017 saw me moving back to SA, finding a job, finding a church and a community, and generally just trying to figure out who I am in this new phase of my life. When 2018 arrived, I was all levels of ready to take this things by the horns. Spoiler: that didn’t happen. We’re approaching August and I don’t feel like I’ve put this year to good use.

Let’s see if I can make up for lost time by packing a punch into these last 5 months.

First up, I’m going to spend a few days drawing up a list of things I’d like to achieve by the end of this year. Then it’s go-time!

Can I do this? Let’s wait and see…
